Digital Book: Imagining the Self

$10.00

How does nature change shape?

This question began a year-long project exploring transformation through art, science, and storytelling, captured in this self-exploration workbook.

Can nature’s patterns guide our own transformations?

Imagining the Self captures Kira's research about transformation in nature, sharing life's patterns through a mix of art, science, and storytelling. This interactive workbook invites the user to explore transformation in several ways: by sharing examples of transformations in nature, by encouraging self-reflection, and via physical modification of the book itself.

In nature, things often break down before they can be rebuilt: a caterpillar disintegrates before emerging as a butterfly and decaying matter becomes the building blocks for new life. Imagining the Self shares examples of transformation alongside worksheets that ask the reader to explore aspects of themselves and their role in community.
